Green holidays and things to do in West Wales

Sustainability and green holidays are at the heart of what we offer at our wildlife friendly organic farm.

We work to an environmental policy to try and make your holiday as green as possible.

Treberfedd farm makes green electricity too. The holiday cottages are powered by a wind turbine and solar panels on the barn roof.

Home grown firewood is always available for log fires in a cosy cottage – a truly green place to stay.

There’s lots to do at Treberfedd Farm and around west Wales.

Eighty acres is yours to explore with a two mile nature trail to follow and exciting muddy welly walk. The farm cottages are ideal for a child friendly holiday. Children enjoy the playground, climbing wall, making pizzas in the pizza oven, meeting the farm animals and collecting the eggs.

The farm and cottages offer dog friendly holidays too.

Twenty acres of woodland walks provide plenty of space to walk the dog. There’s over two miles of nature trail to follow around the farm through scenic west wales countryside.

There’s loads to do in the area and all within less than an hours drive.

Treberfedd lies right in the middle of the ancient Welsh county of Ceredigion, west Wales, perfectly placed for exploring the mountains, beaches seaside and the small welsh speaking towns of Aberaeron, New Quay and Lampeter. Dolphin watching boat trips from New Quay are a must in good weather. The Rheidol valley steam train from Aberystwyth takes you through dramatic scenery to Devils Bridge waterfalls while the large family attraction of Folly Farm is only an hour away.
