Wales has more dark sky reserves than any other country in the world.

The long dark winter nights make for the best stargazing experiences, turning your winter get away into a magical 24 hour experience. Situated on a hilltop over-looking the Aeron valley and green hills of West Wales, Treberfedd is a great spot for watching the night skies. If you want to leave the farm to see the night sky; Llanerchaeron is a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site which is only 10 minutes from the farm, Penbryn beach is also designated Dark Sky Discovery Site which is a 30 minute drive away from the farm.

The Cambrian mountains, Mid Wales is recognised as one of the darkest places in the UK and unless you live in one of these places, you won’t know how dark it really gets, in fact less that 10% of the population can see a full sky of stars from their home. For more information click here.
